MATRIMONIAL AND FAMILY PROBLEMS
We have a very experienced and sympathetic team who will be able to give you help and advice if you are having relationship problems, whether married or not.
Our team is headed by a partner who is a member of the Law Society Children Panel, and we attempt to resolve problems through negotiation and mediation, rather than by confrontation. We meet the Quality Mark for the Legal Services Commission and will always assess whether you can have Public Funding (previously called Legal Aid).
We offer advice and assistance for:-
- Divorce We will help you through the court process, completing forms and dealing with the procedural steps.
- Financial. As the divorce proceeds you will need to obtain a court order settling the money matters, including maintenance and property issues.
- Contact and Residence. Sometimes adults cannot agree about the children seeing the parent who does not live with them, or indeed where they should live. We adopt an approach which tries to resolve the problem by mediation, keeping the conflict away from the children.
- Care matters. We have a member of the Law Society Children Panel who can give you help with these problems. Advice can be given from a very early stage. We will attend Child Protection Case conferences with you.
For an initial free interview at one of our 5 offices complete the enquiry form. The interview will normally be within 24 hours (subject to availability).
